Jaamme hyvää energiaa

Caruna on perustettu 2014, mutta sen tarina alkoi jo vuonna 1912 paikassa nimeltä Karuna, jossa uusi sähkönsiirtoyhtiö aloitti toimintansa. Monen vaiheen jälkeen, viimeksi osana Fortumia, olemme nyt Caruna, uuden ajan sähkönsiirtoyritys. Katseemme on uuden ajan toimivammassa arjessa ja nautimme 100-vuotisesta kokemuksesta.

Siirrämme sähköä helpottaaksemme ihmisten arkea. Voimme keittää aamukahvit, lämmittää joulusaunan, viestitellä läheisillemme ja lukea iltasatuja lukulampun valossa vaivattomasti ja helposti. Sähkö on perustarve, ja me pidämme huolta, että sähkö kulkee. Haluamme vastata asiakkaan odotuksiin ja ennen kaikkea turvata häiriöttömän sähköntoimituksen. Parannamme ja kehitämme sähköverkkoamme jatkuvasti. Tämän ansiosta asiakas voi esimerkiksi tuottaa käyttämänsä sähkön itse ja myydä ylijäämäsähkön verkkomme välityksellä. Voidaksemme taata myös nopean ja osaavan palvelun, selkeän laskutuksen, sähkönkulutuksen raportoinnin ja sähkökatkoista tiedottamisen, käytämme eri kanavia.

Carunan suurimmat toiminnot ovat verkon suunnittelu ja rakennuttaminen, tekninen asiakaspalvelu ja verkon käyttö, joissa tarvitaan sähköteknisen osaamisen lisäksi kaupallista osaamista. Myös  IT on keskeisessä roolissa Carunassa, koska ydinliiketoiminnan kannalta järjestelmien toimivuus on tärkeää. Sekä oman henkilöstön että alihankkijoiden turvallisuus on jatkuvan seurannan ja kehittämisen kohteena.

Yksi Carunan kantavia teemoja on omajohtaminen. Tämä tarkoittaa sitä, että  Carunassa jokaisen halutaan ottavan vastuu omasta tekemisestään ja osallistuvan yhtiön toiminnan kehittämiseen yli tiimirajojen. Yksi hyvä esimerkki on yhtiön arvojen luomisprosessi, jossa henkilöstön työryhmissä seulottiin kaikkien työntekijöiden antamien ideoiden pohjalta yhteiset arvot. Carunan Virtaa -työhyvinvointitoiminnalla tuemme henkilöstömme työkykyä ja hyvinvointia sekä edistämme työyhteisön toimivuutta.

Caruna on Suomen suurin sähkönsiirtoon keskittyvä yritys. Meillä on noin 20 prosentin markkinaosuus Suomen paikallisesta sähkönsiirrosta. Vastaamme 640 000 yksityis- ja yritysasiakkaan sähkönsiirrosta Etelä-, Lounais- ja Länsi-Suomessa, Joensuussa, Koillismaalla sekä Satakunnassa. Carunan miltei 79 000 kilometrin pituinen sähköverkko yltäisi melkein kaksi kertaa maapallon ympäri. Työllistämme suoraan 340 henkilöä ja välillisesti yhteensä 1 500 työntekijää eri puolilla Suomea. Investoimme vuosittain noin 100 miljoonaa euroa sähköverkkoomme.

Toimintaamme sääntelee Energiavirasto, joka valvoo sähköverkkoliiketoimintaa Suomessa.
Carunan omistavat suomalaiset eläkevakuutusyhtiöt Keva (12,5 %) ja Elo (7,5 %) sekä kansainväliset infrastruktuurisijoittajat First State Investments (40 %) ja Borealis Infrastructure (40 %).

Finally - thank you for your patience - more information on our client company and the different brands: Intel Corporation is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Intel is one of the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip makers, based on revenue. It is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. Furthermore, McAfee, part of Intel Security is the world's largest dedicated security technology company. On February 28, 2011, McAfee became a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel. In early 2014, Intel announced it would rebrand McAfee as Intel Security. However, while Intel Security is (mostly) used in the external communication of the company, the McAfee name still lives on in the product names.  Furthermore, if you are familiar with the field and have heard of a Finnish company called Stonesoft, it was acquired by McAfee in 2013.
