Menno Bart came to our office to talk with our Chief Executive Officer Heikki Karimaa about the direction that the private employment agencies are taking in Finland and how is the whole labour market looking in Finland and in Northern Europe.

Ciett is the authoritative voice representing the interests of agency work businesses. The organization was established in 1967 and it represents a sector that is today "the way to work" for more than 36 million workers around the world. Europe has it's own Ciett branch called Eurociett that Finlands own Private Employment Agencies’ Association HPL is member of.

One of Cietts missions is to seek greater recognition for the contribution that private employment agencies make to better functioning labour markets, especially in relation to three key aspects: job creation, access to and integration in the labour market of diverse groups of workers, economic growth and tax revenues. They also work to improve the image of the industry and help raise the quality standards of agency work business.
